JCCC Martial Arts Policies

An active JCCC Membership and a free martial arts group membership are required. This can be completed through the registration portal.

Class fees must be paid in full by the registration deadline. Please note that all payments are final, and no refund or deferral of fee will be issued.

Registration after the deadline will be subject to administrative fees. Please see our policy here for more information.

Please note that each Martial Arts Class has its own registration time and minimum age for acceptance.
Family Discount
All families can enjoy a 10% discount for any multiple registrations within the family across any of our martial arts disciplines. This is available through a promo code in your registration email. Please apply before checkout. Family discount cannot be applied retroactively.
Registration
*Registration for martial arts programs allows a participant to attend as many classes as the program offers per week.
Registration for Aikido, Karate, and Jodo for Dec 2024 - Feb 2025 are open

- Age 6-14: Register
- Age 15&up: You need to attend Introductory course and meet the prerequisite before registering for Aikido class. For all who are interested in joining the next registration for the martial arts programs, and who do not already receive email news about our martial arts, you can sign up for our notification list.
JCCC Program Protocol
As of July 4, 2022 the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre’s Health Protection Policy will be suspended. As a result, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will no longer be required for entry to the JCCC. However we may continue to require vaccination in certain circumstances based on requests from individual program leaders due to the needs of the specific program.
Failure to follow JCCC guideline and processes could result in a loss of opportunity to participate in our programming.
