Pecoross’ Mother and Her Days and The Eternal Zero Take Major Awards at 2014 Toronto Japanese Film Festival.
Latest by Yoshihiro Nakamura and Takashi Miike Latest also Honoured
Azuma Morisaki’s PECOROSS’ MOTHER AND HER DAYS won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Film at the Toronto Japanese Film Festival. The Grand Jury Prizes were also awarded to Yoshihiro Nakamura’s THE SNOW WHITE MURDER CASE and Takashi Miike’s THE MOLE SONG – UNDERCOVER AGENT REIJI. Takashi Yamazaki’s THE ETERNAL ZERO received the festival’s Kobayashi Audience Choice Award.
The Toronto Japanese Film Festival will return in June 2015 and remains dedicated to showcasing the finest Japanese films that have been recognized for excellence by Japanese audiences and critics, international film festival audiences and the Japanese Film Academy.
