ANGRY SQUAD: CIVIL SERVANTS AND SEVEN SWINDLERS

The director of “One Cut of the Dead” is back with an hilarious and compelling crime comedy.

Kumazawa, a dedicated tax office employee, is scammed out of a large amount of money by genius con artist Himuro. With the help of his best friend detective, Kumazawa tracks Himuro down. Himuro gives him a proposition: "let me go and I'll scam the most powerful people you're chasing and collect 1 billion yen in evaded taxes”. The two team up and gather a group of eccentric outlaws to form the Angry Squad. They take on a grand tax collection mission against one of Japan’s most egregious con men, the charming but corrupt property developer, Tachibana.
