Miyamatsu divides his modest life between jobs as a cable car operator and an extra in Japanese gangster and samurai films. With no family, friends, or memories of the past, he sleepwalks through life. Through a chance meeting, he is confronted with a different life – his own. His true name is Yamashita. He has a sister and a history he decides to investigate.
